We recognise that inspired learning + play requires the right combination of:

  • A classroom climate that inspires learning
  • Educator wellbeing and resilience
  • Confident and compassionate learners

Our programs are designed to focus on these three core areas. They also work cumulatively because we know that teacher wellbeing affects learner wellbeing, and vice versa.

On their own, each of our programs will make a difference. Together, they can transform the early learning experience.

It also helps to improves emotional regulation and supports their engagement in the curriculum.  Their wonderful teacher uses props to make things visually engaging for the children - for example, a ‘magic breathing ball’ that expands and contracts to demonstrate breathing in and out. Our educators are encouraged to participate, so they learn some yoga, breath and mindfulness skills too to share with the children throughout the week"

Lara Wilson, Reddam Early Learning, Lindfield

"Beth from Karma Kids Yoga has truly enriched our preschool wellbeing program. Her yoga sessions are always engaging, supportive and age-appropriate, making each class a fun and creative experience for the children. She has a unique ability to connect with the children, creating a calm and joyful atmosphere while teaching valuable skills like mindfulness and respect. The children look forward to their yoga sessions with Beth and feel safe and secure in her classes, which promote physical wellness and emotional growth. Beth's yoga program has helped our children develop confidence, focus, and self-awareness. We are so grateful for the positive impact she has made! "

Bev Smusko, Director, Emanuel Woollahra Preschool

I Just wanted to let you know how beneficial the yoga classes have been here at the service.

We have a child who finds it challenging to regulate his emotions and engage in any intentional experiences.

Last week I was surprised that the child was able to attend Nancy’s group from start to finish and participate and engage in the whole experience, through mindful breathing and attempting all actions.

This child was also so proud of himself that when he had finished the session he ran to his educator and told her “I just did Yoga”.
